Do you feel you are getting the most out of your promotion efforts? One method of advertising is networking. This type of promoting or advertising, if you will, is getting the maximum benefit out of your efforts. Ask yourself, is my business card specific to my business, does it look interesting enough to attract attention. Are you getting the kind of response from networking events you attend with your business card? If not, try taking a look at how you are promoting yourself. Is your business card specific or interesting enough to help make a good first impression?

Business cards are a very valuable advertising and promotional tool. No business person today would even consider being without the convenience of having a business card to hand to prospective clients or customers. Handing out a business card is the way many business people break the ice, start conversations, inform their prospective clients, etc. It's so much easier than writing out all your contact information for a person you've just met.

Tips on Network Marketing

   1. If you have more than one business, use individual cards.
   2. Use double-sided cards to pass on more information.
   3. Be able to access your cards easily.
   4. Make sure your cards have current information.
   5. Do not hand out ragged looking business cards.
   6. Be professional

The impact you have on a first impression is the key to future contact with your customers.  Your business card could be just the marketing tools that will help you achieve that. Remember, the business card is normally the first or last thing your prospective clients will have to associate you and your company with. Don't be stingy and produce a just ok card.

Forgetting and not having a business card is a momentous mistake.

To not have a business card with you always is something that can make or break a first impression. How many times have you been asked for your business cards. If you don't have one handy then you are scrambling to find a pen and paper, this is not a good impression. Make sure your cards are in good condition and have them readily available. Networking with your business cards can produce additional business just by others letting others know about you and your products.
